§ 154.146. COMPOSITION AND APPOINTMENT.

  • (A) The Commission shall and does consist of seven members.
    (B) In accordance with I.C. 36-7-4 et seq., the following members are appointed to the Commission:
    (1) Member One shall serve an initial term of three years, which shall expire on the first Monday of January 2011. After the initial term expires, the appointment shall be a four-year term. Member One shall be appointed by the Town Council;
    (2) Member Two shall serve an initial term of three years, which shall expire on the first Monday of January 2011. After the initial term expires, the appointment shall be a four-year term. Member Two shall be appointed by the Town Council President;
    (3) Member Three shall serve an initial term of four years, which shall expire on first Monday of January 2012. After the initial term expires, the appointment shall be a four-year term. Member Three shall be appointed by the Town Council;
    (4) Member Four shall serve an initial term of four years, which shall expire on the first Monday of January 2012. After the initial term expires, the appointment shall be for a four-year term. Member Four shall be appointed by the Town Council President;
    (5) Member Five shall serve an initial term of two years, which shall expire on the first Monday of January 2010. After the initial term expires, the appointment shall be for a four-year term. Member Five shall be appointed by the Town Council.
    (6) Member Six shall serve an initial term of two years, which shall expire on the first Monday of January 2010. After the initial term expires, the appointment shall be a four-year term. Member Six shall be appointed by the Town Council President;
    (7) Member Seven shall serve an initial term of two years, which shall expire on First Monday of January 2010. After the initial term expires, the appointment shall be a four-year term. Member Seven shall be appointed by the Town Council President.
    (C) If a vacancy occurs among the Commission members who are appointed, the appointing authority (i.e., the entity that initially appointed the vacating member), shall appoint a member for the unexpired term of the vacating member.
