§ 53.023. MONTHLY CHARGES ESTABLISHED.

(A) In order to produce an amount sufficient to meet the interest on the revenue bonds, and other expenses, payable prior to the completion of the works, after the contract for construction of the sewer system has been let and actual work commenced thereunder, the owners of each and every lot, parcel of real estate or building currently connected or to be connected with the town's sanitary sewage system, as a result of construction of the works, shall pay, each month the following rates and charges.

(B) The rates and charges shall be in an amount determinable as follows:

(1) Customers connected to the town sewage system:

(a) Except as herein otherwise provided, sewage rates and charges shall be based on the quantity of water used on or in the property or premises subject to the rates and charges, as measured by the water meter there in use.

(b) The water usage schedule on which the amount of the sewage rates and charges shall be determined as follows:

Quantity of Water Used Per Month	Rate Per 1,000 Gallons
First 3,000 gallons	$4.32
Next 1,000 gallons	$8.64
Over 4,000 gallons	$2.30

(c) The minimum charge per month for sewage services shall be $12.96.

(2) Customers to be connected to the town's sewage system as a result of the proposed construction project shall pay a monthly flat rate of $15.80.
